Who we are
Shared Garden is run by Zeger Derynck ("Shared Garden", "we", "us"). You can reach us at support@sharedgarden.org.
1. What these terms are
By using this site, including joining the waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site. These terms cover the waitlist landing page only. When the full platform launches, platform-specific terms will be added and you will be notified.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of consent in your country) and able to enter a binding agreement. The waitlist is open whether you are a garden owner or someone looking for a place to garden.
3. What the site is (and isn't)
The site is a pre-launch waitlist. You give us your details so we can notify you at launch. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access, an account, or any particular feature or timeline. The platform is not yet operational, so nothing on the site constitutes a service agreement for gardening or matching.
4. Your signup
Provide accurate information and do not sign up on someone else's behalf without permission. Your questions and expectations are voluntary. Do not submit anything unlawful, offensive, infringing, or personal data about others. We may remove waitlist entries that violate this section.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Misuse the site (scraping, probing, or overloading it)
- Attempt unauthorized access to any systems or accounts
- Use the site to send spam or malware
- Misrepresent your identity
- Use the site for any illegal purpose
6. Intellectual property
The site's content, branding, and design belong to Shared Garden. You get a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to view the site for personal, non-commercial use. Feedback you send us may be used to improve the platform without any obligation to you.
7. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, available in the footer. It forms part of these terms.
8. Disclaimer
The site is provided "as is" and "as available". We aim for it to be accurate and available but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We are not responsible for content on external sites we link to.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shared Garden (Zeger Derynck) is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date below shows when they were last updated. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
11. Governing law & contact
